I am a Professional Video Camera Operator / Cameraman, Photographer and
Interactive
Media Producer based in Manchester. I am Broadcast Trained and
specialise particularly in producing Video, Photography and Interactive
Material for Broadcast, P.R. Business and Private clientelle. In
order to round the job off I am fully able to creatively light your
subject as well as recording clear audio where necessary. I also
offer various Digital Production and Post Production Services such as
Non-Linear-Editing, Graphic Design, Simple Flash Animations and
products such as Interactive
DVD, CD-ROM and Presentation Material. All of this can be mixed
and matched as required.
My experience as a Camerman, Professional Photographer and Interactive
Media Producer covers 15 years within the UK Broadcast Television,
Corporate and Private Consumer industries. It includes working for
productions aired by the UK's main terrestrial channels - BBC1, BBC2,
ITV, CH4 and CH5 plus companies such as Nickelodeon UK, U.S.A. and
MTV. I have accrued over 3000 live broadcast camera operating
hours so far.
The type of camerawork I offer includes PSC (Portable Single Camera),
Location Multicamera, Studio Single and Studio Multicamera. I am
time served with most media genres including Studio, Location and PSC
Drama, Comedy, Childrens Television, Live Music, Sports, Current
Affairs, Light Entertainment, Quiz and Magazine Show formats. For
Corporate clients I have supplied VT Material and Video Coverage for
numerous events, conferences and exhibitions with clients including
Clarks Shoes, Brittannia Building Society and The Co-op. My
Photography has been used by clients such as ITV, The English Civil War
Society along with various private and business clientelle.
Recent credits include 21
Months spent Training and Mentoring post-graduates in the discipline of
Studio Technical Operation for 3Sixty Media. (BBC and ITV Skills
Agency) at Granada Studios in Manchester. The output was Live
Interactive Television broadcast on the UK's main terrestrial
channels. The greater majority of these post-graduates are
presently still in full-time employment or enjoy regular freelance

HDV - Better for
more glossy looking Internal PR and Low to Medium Budget Productions,
Promotional Material, Pilot Productions and so on.
DigiBeta -
Broadcast Television industry Standard Definition quality video
encoding for Medium to High Budgets. Minimum Standard for
Television Broadcast and Public Address on Larger Screens.
HD - Current UK
favoured High Definition Television format. Not cheap but the picture
quality justifies the price in most cases! Hired mainly for Prime Time
Television, High Level PR, Advertising, Music Video, Documentary,
Independent Film Making and so on.
I can offer In-House
Editing and Post Production for DV quality, HDV quality and High
Quality Internet Video. Output can be to Tape or DVD / Data DVD ready
to place on your server, web pages etc.
For larger budgets using Video Formats such as DigiBeta and HD where
you wish for superior image quality I can provide you with broadcast
grade uncut footage.
I am able to source HD and DigiBeta Post Production, Vision Mixing and
VME operator services where needed.
